Singing Entertainer, Dave Caylor welcomes you:

As a valued visitor to my website, welcome.  Your presence is appreciated.

    PLEASE  NOTE MY NEW SCHEDULE

in Las Vegas                  in  Orange County                 in Las Vegas

Dec 27 - JUN 10             JUN 10  -    SEP 27                Sep27 -  Dec27

Activities Directors, program Chairpersons, and "good music" lovers will learn that this  entertainer was a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and a "Jet Pilot" for twenty years  You have discovered a person who decided to do what he loves to do and that is TO ENTERTAIN.  Although he shares the same birthday of Luciano Pavarotti - Pavarotti was younger and has already gone to his reward.   You will learn how I will answer your question of 'How much do you charge?  "Having been in this business as long as I have, I have learned that most everyone is operating under fiscal restraints and I am willing to consider working at your budget level."

Sometimes when the future client is located a such distances that it is not prudent to consider traveling to some locations for a single minimum paying job. In those cases if you have  a relationship with another facility in your area who is willing to utilize my services on the same day then the trip becomes feasible.  I have performed as many as five (5) shows on the same day.  Usually 9 A.M.-11 A.M.-1 P.M.-3 P.M.- and after the evening meal. For those activities directors who have not established a relationship with their neighbors,  if you will allow me adequate lead time that will permit me time to contact others nearby of your request with a precise date and time to inquire if they could utilize my services on the same trip thereby making the trip more promising than simply paying for the gas to get there. This begins to make the trip and return with a modicum of profit after expenses.  Briefly - I'll work with you if you'll work with me.

This website will  endeavor to illuminate and inspire you to the opportunity which you have to enjoy a genuine caring human being who possesses an extraordinary voice and the ability to communicate the love and joy of entertaining by singing your favorites at your special events, and/or to make you aware of the fact that there is also an opportunity to hear this exceptional artist performing recorded patriotic selections including two (2) United States Marine Corps Songs. One of the Marine songs was written in 1967 while I was serving my first 13 month tour in Vietnam.  At the time I was the staff secretary to Major General Robertshaw in Danang.  The general, the warrant officer,  and the lance Corporal all were sounding boards during the writing of this song.  The song is titled: A UNITED STATES MARINE.  Another United States Marine  Corps song was written during the process of collaboration on what the contents of a Patriotic CD should be.  The additional Marine song is titled: ONCE A MARINE.   Add four songs with which you are familiar and  six more which were selected from a wealth of previously unrecorded songs which were a product of my Los Angeles neighbor, and you will be listening to a treat of new patriotic songs.  You will find these songs to be an inspiration such that you will share with pride to any and all your uncompromising friends.

Look me over to see from where I came and relax knowing that as a showman,  I've been there and done that and can incorporate my vocal skills into your upcoming celebration/event to deliver a strong program of your choice.  For those who would like to acquire my Patriotic Album entitled "PATRIOT VOICES" presenting EIGHT new songs along with FOUR standards, you have but to ask.

THE One-Man SHOW ("Rockin' Hits of Yesteryear"):

    • The show which is titled "ROCKIN' HITS of YESTERYEAR" has been my introductory show to most facilities.  After they have enjoyed this show, they usually become fans and invite me back frequently sometimes for a specific holiday or for another round of Rockin' Hits of Yesteryear.  I have had to clone this show six times because of its popularity.  It is centered around the songs of such artists that seniors know and love. Like: Al Jolson, Eddie Cantor, Nelson Eddy, Enrico Caruso,  Mario Lanza, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Nat "King" Cole, Dean Martin, Bobbie Darin, Ray Charles, Sammy Davis Jr.,  Mel Torme, Louis Armstrong, Frankie Laine, Maurice Chevalier, and of course Frank Sinatra. The songs that they sang and recorded are now classics and the songs which each senior knows and sings upon hearing.  I love to have everyone singing those familiar songs:  To name a few: Shine on Harvest Moon, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Oh You Beautiful Doll, If You Knew Suzie, I Want a Girl Just Like the Girl that Married Dear Old Dad, Peggy O'Neil, Down By the Old Mill Stream, Down By the Riverside, You are My Sunshine, Ain't She Sweet, Hey Good Lookin', I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy, You're a Grand Ol' Flag, Give my Regards to Broadway, and It had to be You.   These songs are spliced between stories about the songs that they know, stories which I have learned through research of the composer, the lyricist, and or the artist and share because of their history, humor or uniqueness.    Like the ad: Try it, you'll Like it.
    • I have been called a "super dictionist" which means that you will understand the words of the song the first time you hear him sing.  Some people have remarked that they didn't know that that song said that.  Although they had heard the song before they never understood what they were saying until I sang it today.
